I promise there has been a reason for the radio silence over here in our little corner of the world. We have been BUSY! A blessing, and a curse, right?!? Along with a busy calendar of projects, we’ve been working to update and improve the website and hope that this is a truer snapshot of Amelia Dee Designs. Take a little stroll around and let us know what you think! We’re hoping to add more and more each day. For all the work ADD has done, we haven’t been great at documenting it, especially those before & afters and we're working on changing that!
We’re so excited to share this project with you! If you’ve been following along on Facebook or Instagram, you might have seen a few progress pics along the way, but now that it is complete I’m ready to share the whole kit & caboodle! We have partnered with OneNorth Homes to build new construction modern homes in the heart of the Grove. We collaborated through the entire process, and are extremely proud of the outcome. We worked with the architects on the home design, managed the construction process, and when the buyers came on board we helped pull together the interior finishes. Everything from cabinetry to flooring to lighting, no detail was missed.
We started with a just hole in the ground, and pile of sticks.
Y’all know I had to get in on the process a little bit! Checking in on the progress was not only my job but quickly became my obsession. I may or may not have had a little picnic on the roof at one point.
Moving on to the finished product! We worked with our architect, Tim Hollerbach Designs, to design a thoughtful modern space that complimented the historic buildings surrounding it. Modern profile paired with natural elements, and we are just dying over the result.
Now, enter the homeowner. The buyers came on board early enough in this process that they were able to make this a true custom home. They took the reigns on what they wanted for their dream home and we were just there to make it happen. The beam in two story foyer was originally slated to be boxed in and painted. The buyers loved it during a walkthrough, and we agreed. The beam was there to STAY. They were looking for traditional, meets modern, with a twist of rustic.
We’d love to know what you think! This is just the first of three homes we’re working on. One is currently under construction and listed with Grove Properties, and another still yet to come! As we speak, we’re selecting the finishes for the Chouteau build and seriously drooling at the result. Modern finishes with a hint of industrial is our vision, make sure you’re following along on IG for progress updates.
