I bought my first home at the age 24. It was the ugliest dilapidated pile of sticks and I had to have it. I was blind to everything wrong and broken and saw only the potential. Armed only with naivety and a fierce desire to learn how to repair everything broken in that tiny bungalow, I began my career remodeling and building… seeing only the endless potential in every home.  Since then, I have built a unique design business focused on two sets of clients: real estate investors and homeowners. During the rehab market boom, I quickly noticed that home after home being turned out by investor after investor looked the same: plain, beige and uninspired (no offense to the color beige, ok?). So, I began to build a design business with the idea that investors could command a higher sales price with fewer days on market with a rehabbed home that had a bit of design savvy. Thoughtful, cohesive design could bring our investor clients more money…the market agreed! Not only that, it could help our investors better brand themselves around the type of homes they were putting on the market. 

While design work for our investors is an exercise in understanding the real estate market on a large scale trying to reach the greatest number of potential buyers, our design for homeowners is the exact opposite!  It allows us to delve into our clients’ lives and lifestyles as we work to create a home that is beautiful, yes, but that is a true reflection of our clients and their lifestyle.  Never too serious. Never overdone. Always authentic.  Always HOME.  Whether our work is restyling a living space with fresh new finishes or fully renovating a kitchen down to the studs, we aim to create a home for our clients that is a true reflection of their family while also adding value to their real estate investment, often a family’s greatest asset. 

Our latest partnership is with a budding homebuilder, OneNorth Homes.  We are busy collaborating with two very market and investment-savvy real estate visionaries to build some pretty awesome modern architecture.  We collaborate on design with architects, manage the construction process, and pull together the interior finishes from cabinetry to flooring to lighting.  Start to finish, we’re there.  From a patch of ground to a new home for a proud homeowner, the process is awe-inspiring every single time!  It gets me up and out of bed each and every day!
